“We are setting her a task,” he said.

“This filly does have a few hurdles to overcome and the main one is she hasn’t really had an ideal lead-up.

“She has gone from 1500 metres to 2000 metres and straight to 2400 metres.

“The fact she is going to be running over 2400 metres on a bog is a disadvantage.

“She has a brilliant turn of foot and most horses like that are better on top of the ground but I have great confidence in her and I’m relying heavily on her class to pull her through.”
